Elections are a vital part of our freedom, the liberty to remove politicians from power if we believe they are not acting in our interest. This is my view of a libertarian way of holding parliament to account, contrary to Gordon Brown's ideas of committees to oversee parliament, which I think are an authoritarian response.

Anyway, follow the election results and related political news as they come through with Iain Dale and Hopi Sen for informed opinion not guided by editorial directive.
